I I can't believe it, but my sweet little Autumn has turned one! Her age is not the only thing that has changed. Her sweet personality has turned a little more feisty to match her red hair. At the doctor's office for her one year check up he asked how her social skills are and I had to laugh and admit that she is kind of a bully. She already tries to beat up on Peyton. I feel so blessed to have her as a part of our family.
At heart, I feel like a 12 year old girl trying to play at being a Mom to two red heads and a wife to a busy pre-med student. My love for things from the past leads me to believe I was born in the wrong century. As I'm sure many other women can relate, I feel I would be more at home in an empire waist dress, reading poetry in a field of wildflowers than I am at the grocery store in jeans in a t-shirt. But, I believe in blooming where you're planted, so I'll just have to bring some of the past to the future!
Oh my goodness! She is so big.(But tiny!) I am hoping to be able to see you when I come to Utah! Miss you!
